I am a staunch supporter of meeting people where they are at and believe fully that every individual has the right to self-determination in making decisions that affect their life. I enjoy helping people find their chosen pathway to success. This journey is their journey; not mine.
While my current work focuses on mental health, addiction treatment and recovery, I have spent my time working for the underdog, the marginalized, and less fortunate members of our community. There are a lot of overlaps in my core beliefs, ethics, and values across the communities I wish to assist, serve, and empower to reach their full potential.

Over my lifetime, I have co-founded and/or created two community not-for-profits. One was created to serve the members of the community who are facing a hardship in their life or the life of a loved one. The other was born out of a community outcry to do something about the effects of the Opioid Epidemic on our community. This has also touched my own family. I’ve lost friends, family, and clients to this epidemic. Although I no longer serve in an official capacity on the boards of the organizations I helped to create, I freely offer up my experience, knowledge and talents to the organizations when asked.
